Dalmatian Jasper beaded smiley necklace (silver)

Dalmatian Jasper is a creamy coloured stone, naturally dotted with black spots which make it resemble....a Dalmatian dog! I love it because it looks like my own dog's nose, but also because it makes a really striking necklace when cut into beads.

This Dalmatian Jasper beaded necklace holds a silver two-sided smiley pendant - happy on one side, sad on the other - as a daily reminder of the little things or people (or dogs) that can turn your mood around. 

These Dalmatian Jasper beads have been hand strung onto a strong silk thread and finished with a sterling silver clasp.

The silver smiley pendant is hand carved from wax before being cast in 925 sterling silver, then finished and polished by hand.
